Is this a lesbian dream? No, it is a lesbian dream and reality combined. The technologically forward, ultra environmentally friendly Prius meets the beautiful bed of the Subaru Baja. Believe it or not, this one-of-a-kind beauty is for sale. Or was for sale tomorrow after I buy it. See the seller’s website and more pictures of the PRUCK by clicking on the picture.
This video makes me want to dance with a lady and buy another Subaru. Success!
Dana Fairbanks (rest in peace) was really good at tennis. Subaru has a history of loyalty to tennis-playing lady-loving-ladies (see previous post). In episode two (2004) of “The L Word,” Subaru features Dana in its advertisements with the slogan, “Get Out. And Stay Out.” It was a moment of brilliance in television history.

Maria Navratilova likes Subaru. And Subaru likes her. It is a mutually beneficial relationship. I feel similarly when I think about my car and me.

“Subaru has been the most prominent company to embrace the gay market. As long ago as 2000, the automaker created advertising campaigns around Martina Navratilova, the gay tennis star, and also used a sales slogan that was a subtle gay-rights message: “It’s not a choice. It’s the way we’re built.” Little wonder that many lesbians refer to their Outbacks as ‘Lesbarus.’”
SOMETIMES REFERRED TO AS “LESBARUS,” SUBARU STATION WAGONS HAVE NOT ONLY THE ROOMY REAR CARGO SPACE NECESSARY FOR TRANSPORTING LARGE DOGS BUT ALSO THE ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE CAPABILITIES USEFUL FOR OFF-ROAD TRIPS TO THE LILITH FAIR.

Just daydreaming.
